Compact Electric Grill Pan

As someone who loves kitchen gadgets and prefers cooking meals at home due to allergies, I decided to try out the Courant Express Electric Round Griddle on a whim. Surprisingly, it has become a staple in my daily work-from-home lunch routine. It's perfect for quickly preparing ingredients from the fridge and freezer for sandwiches, quesadillas, or salads. Additionally, it excels at cooking eggs, bacon, and other breakfast items. I recently discovered its ability to grill boneless, skinless chicken breasts to perfection��crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Despite its small size, it's ideal for one or two people, especially when you want a flat top effect rather than grill lines.

Effective but Gets Too Hot

Great little griddle for my needs but, it does get way too hot and tends to overcook the underside of food, sometimes not evenly or dry the heck out of an omelet while top is still not quite done even though you have it closed. It also shut closed with a latch and that latch keeps not wanting to unlock for me to open griddle up while something is in griddle. it not the lock/latch mechanism that is the issue, it seems to be a "pressurize' thing. when this happens i can't get pancakes or omelet out to flip it if needed, hence why i probably ended up with a dry omelet which i haven't made in it again.. Still this is cute and its size makes it easy to store away with my favorite Courant mini waffle makers and Courant bundt cake maker. Also sooooo easy to wipe clean and no grease trays to clean up.
