This burner is an essential tool for me. I needed a way to simmer or slow boil on my induction hot plate, so I bought this and it works perfectly for that. Now I can start boiling on the induction plate and transfer to this one for controlled simmer/boil. My life is now complete!

This hot plate is amazing. It's our second one and it's easy to use and clean. You can cook just about anything on it, unlike an induction hot plate. We love it.

I liked how quickly the burner heats up and how easy it is to change the temperature control. However, I found it confusing to turn off. The instructions recommend turning it off at the power outlet and removing the plug, but there is no clear indication that it is actually off when using the on/off button. I ended up just unplugging it to ensure it was off.
