This has made prep time a little more fun. My kids like turning the crank while I handle putting the vegetables in. Obviously I supervise them, but I like that their hands aren't right next to the blade. We made coleslaw together and got through a whole pile of cabbage pretty quickly.

I've been using this for carrots, potatoes and cabbage when making dinner. The different blades are handy depending on what I'm making. I like that everything comes apart afterwards because I don't want food getting stuck in some impossible-to-reach spot. Definitely easier than doing all that cutting by hand.
