However, I did notice that after being on warm for a few minutes, the rice at the bottom started to brown. Unplugging it right after cooking helped, but it still slightly browned. -

I suspect those problems might arise from not rinsing the rice properly before cooking. My only hiccup has been rice browning when left too long on the warm setting. To avoid that, I just unplug the unit near the end of the cooking cycle. Overall, it's a solid performer, especially considering the price. Couldn't be happier with my IMUSA rice cooker! -
