I really enjoy using this small kettle in my kitchen. It has a nice red and black design and heats up quickly. The only issue I have is that the lid is not removable, which I wish was mentioned more prominently. It's not a big problem, but I would have looked for a different kettle if I had known this beforehand. Overall, I recommend this kettle. However, I have been disappointed with the paint chipping off when I put it in the dishwasher. It may not be dishwasher safe, so I recommend handwashing it to keep it looking nice.

I had to exchange the kettle I initially bought because of some issues. I had the previous one for 15 years, so I was glad to find a smaller one. However, the new kettle has a problem where it stops heating up if you swivel it on the base. You have to find the right position for it to heat up properly. However, using others' water heating methods like a keurig or stove top kettle just doesn't have the same effect for me. I don't like microwaving water either, so I decided to buy this travel mug to easily bring my own tea to other homes. It works well and fits in my overnight bag. I would give it 5 stars if the lid was easier to remove. Instead of being on a hinge and lifting, it spins in the middle which can be inconvenient when pouring water. The lid also gets in the way of the water if not placed just right and is hard to clean. Overall, it's a great product.

The on/off switch can be difficult to use, the plastic material makes it seem low quality, and there is occasional leaking when pouring water. While there's nothing majorly wrong with this kettle, it can be a bit of a hassle to deal with.

I use it 2-4 times a day and it has worked perfectly every day since I bought it. The only issue is that residue builds up due to the water quality where I live, despite using filtered water. It's difficult to clean thoroughly, but I will try using vinegar and water. My tip is to heat twice as much water as you need for your tea, warm the mug, and then use the remaining water to brew.
