I really liked this hand blender and bought it for soap making. I used it for about 5 batches of soap, mainly pulsing and stirring. Unfortunately, it overheated during the 5th batch and now it won't work at all. I'm disappointed, but I've since bought a heavy-duty blender. This hand blender would be great for mixing shakes or other light tasks, but it wasn't suitable for what I needed it for.
