This blender served me well for 4 years, primarily used for blending coffee and occasional hot soups. It's disappointing that products aren't made to last anymore, but that's the norm these days. It's now making a whining noise and I expect it to die soon, but I can't complain for the price. I've decided to try a different blender with a stainless steel wand this time for my hot coffee and to avoid plastic.
