I had been craving grilled cheese sandwiches and decided to try using a sandwich maker to make them easier. Unfortunately, the cheese melted out and made a mess, and it took a long time to clean. Additionally, the sandwich maker made the sandwiches flat and lacking the grilled texture. I would not recommend using this sandwich maker for grilled cheese.

This product is fantastic. I love using it to make grilled cheese sandwiches. My favorite way to use it is to make thin pancakes and then add scrambled eggs, ham or bacon, and another pancake on top. I use the sandwich maker to cook it a bit more and seal the edges, creating a delicious breakfast sandwich. I like to dip it in syrup for some extra flavor. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

The unit functions as intended and effectively makes sandwiches. The only issue is that the depressions (pockets) on the top and bottom are too shallow. If they were 1/4 inch deeper, it would be perfect.

I had a similar sandwich maker in college and it was a lifesaver. Trying this one for the first time brought back memories of how great the sandwiches are. I wish there was a deep pocket version for thicker sandwiches, as this one struggled to close with them. Nonetheless, the sandwiches still tasted great!

I bought this on sale and it works great. It's easy to clean, but it's a pain that it doesn't have an on/off switch - it heats up as soon as it's plugged in. Don't forget to unplug it when you're done using it. It's a bit small, so it can be difficult to close if your sandwich is thick, but if you press harder it will work. The size is a bit strange for most bread loaves, but overall, for the price, it's a good purchase and I'm happy with it since I love grilled cheese.

The product is not suitable for larger slices of bread. I had to trim the bread to make it fit. I use brownberry bread, but Lewis brand bread might be a better fit.

I've been using this grill for around a month and it consistently makes delicious grilled cheese. I'm a big fan of this product - it's nonstick and super easy to clean, just a quick wipe with some paper towels.

The only issue is that the plastic latch that keeps it closed broke, possibly due to exposure to heat. If the latch was made of metal, I would definitely rate this product 5 out of 5.

I really enjoyed using this sandwich maker and used it almost every day for nine months. Unfortunately, after only a few days, the ready light stopped working, and within weeks the latch broke. I continued to use it despite these issues, but it ultimately fell apart two days ago. Given the price, I suppose I should have expected this, but I wouldn't recommend it for frequent use like mine. It's fine for occasional use.

I absolutely love almost everything about this sandwich maker. It heats up quickly and is incredibly easy to clean. I've made a variety of delicious dishes with it, including grilled cheese, crescent rolls, stuffed crescent rolls, mozzarella and pepperoni rolls, and even pumpkin pancakes. My only issue is that the wells are too shallow, causing the sandwich filling to squish out and make a mess when I try to close it. If the wells were deeper, this wouldn't be a problem. Overall, it's a fantastic product, but I have to put small portions of filling in the sandwich to avoid it turning into just flavored toast.
