The juicer works well and gets a lot of juice, but the pulp can be messy. The clear top cover allows for easy cleaning of the grates, which is a nice feature. The downside is that when switching from low to high gear, there is a surge of current that can trip the GFI breaker. To fix this issue, one hand should hold down the fruit being juiced, while the other hand holds down the housing that triggers the switch. After juicing, continue holding down the housing for half a second before lifting up, and it should work fine. Overall, the juicer works great, but I am still returning it due to this design flaw. If you are past the return date, following these steps can resolve the issue.

I bought my second juicer recently, after almost five years with my first one. It has worked perfectly for my morning orange and mandarin juice, and it's very easy to use. I really wanted a full-size juice press, but they are too big and heavy. I decided to look for a smaller solution and found this juicer. After reading reviews, I made the purchase and I do not regret it. I have been using this juicer every morning since last week and the results are great. I can easily juice 4 large navel oranges and get 8 oz of juice. Cleaning up is easy with the removable parts. The only downside for me is that the low pulp mode works well, but the pulp builds up quickly and I have to remove the piece to rinse it out in order to continue juicing with low pulp. However, if you like pulp, this won't be an issue for you. The best part is being able to drink pure Vitamin C without any added chemicals.

This juicer has been amazing for me. I've tried other brands that were more expensive, but this one is definitely the best. I use it 1-2 times a week and have been since August 2018. I love how easy it is to use, assemble, and clean. It works quickly and efficiently and gets every last drop of juice out of the citrus. It's also compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to store. The only issues I've had are that sometimes it's hard to get the juicer to go in the other direction and the stainless steel can be a bit difficult to clean. However, these are minor inconveniences compared to how well the juicer performs. I highly recommend it. UPDATE: After using it for 4 years, it has finally stopped working. We have a huge orange tree in our backyard that produces more than 100 fruits every year. Instead of giving them away, we decided to make juice this year. That's why we bought this citrus juicer. I was initially attracted to its sleek stainless steel design and was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. The auto reverse feature helps with juice extraction and the pulp control feature allows you to customize your juice. The high speed setting ensures you get all the juice into your glass. After using this juice press for two years, it suddenly stopped working properly. Pulp went everywhere and I had to clean up the mess. I haven't contacted Courant yet because I don't want to pay for shipping to get a replacement. Instead, I might just buy a new one, given the low price point. Despite the malfunction, I find the press very useful for juicing oranges from our tree. It's much easier to use and clean compared to our other juicer. The low price makes it a great buy.

I purchased this citrus juicer to make juicing oranges easier, and it has definitely done the job. It's quick and easy to use, and I can get more juice out of the fruit compared to hand juicing. It's also easy to clean, although you do need to wash the parts after juicing each orange. I found that having the fruit at room temperature and rolling it on the counter before juicing helps to get the most juice out. The juicer is small enough to keep on my kitchen counter, and it's reasonably priced at under $30. However, it's not suitable for juicing other types of fruits or vegetables, only citrus fruits. After years of using a handheld lemon squeezer for my daily lemon water, I found that the lemons were too big for it and I had to cut them into 4 pieces just to fit. I decided to try an electric juicer and found this one at a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised by how much easier it was to use and how much more juice I was able to get out of my lemons. Now, my kids are also enjoying lemon/lime water, and I have already recommended this juicer to a friend who was having the same issue with a handheld squeezer. It is definitely worth it! I wanted to increase my water intake but found it difficult and boring to drink a gallon of water a day. I used to be addicted to sweet tea and coffee, but I had to give up the tea with caffeine and started drinking water with citrus juice instead. Squeezing lemons and limes by hand became too difficult for me, so I decided to purchase the Courant Citrus juicer after reading positive reviews. It arrived quickly and I was impressed with its performance when I tested it with my fruit. It takes some practice to get the hang of holding the fruit and getting all the juice out, and I was surprised by the machine changing directions if I lifted my hand. After being unable to find a replacement for our old Braun juicer, we purchased the Courant based on positive reviews and reputation. Upon comparing it to our old juicer, we give this model a 4 with reservations, pending longer term use.
What we like:

I always thought that citrus juicers were for lazy people who didn't want to juice their own lemons until I saw one in action on TV. After watching the Barefoot Contessa use the Courant citrus juicer on the Food Network, I realized it had many benefits over using a manual reamer. The electric juicer makes it easier to measure out precise amounts of citrus juice, and it extracts more juice from the fruit. It also prevents juice from squirting into your eyes and has a final-spin feature to extract the most juice from the pulp. The juicer filters out the pulp and is easy to clean with dishwasher-safe parts. The stainless steel body is durable and looks nice, and the juicer is quieter than most electric citrus juicers. The price of the electric reamer is very reasonable. I have tried other presses and manual reamers in this price range, but they don't extract all the juice. The electric reamer does a great job of getting all the juice and most pulp out of the orange, and then the spin cycle gets most of the juice out of the pulp. Clean up is easy, although a few drops flew onto the counter while extracting. On my first good sized navel orange I got almost 2/3 of a cup. From a smaller than normal Cara Cara I got a 1/2 cup.

Pros:
- It gets far more juice out than any other I've tried.
- The spin cycle really works.
- Clean up is fairly easy.
- It doesn't take long to extract the juice.

Cons:
- None, other than concerns about how long it will last. There are reviews of similar machines having plastic teeth wearing out.
- You do have to watch that you don't ream too much and go into the rind.

Overall, the electric reamer is a great investment for getting maximum juice out of oranges. Although the manual squeezer is decent, I will be using my electric Courant from now on.

I have owned 2 other citrus juicers in this price range. This model has a few features that the others didn't, such as Pulp control and Fast Spin. However, I found that the pulp control feature didn't make much of a difference and the fast spin feature was not very useful and made a mess. The juice spout is a nice addition, but it can be a bit of a hassle. The juicer is quiet and did a good job with limes and lemons, but the juice chamber is small. Overall, it's a decent juicer but the extra features don't add much value. There are other citrus juicers that perform just as well for a better price.

This juicer is incredibly easy to use and works great. I ordered it online and it was delivered the next day. I had previously owned a Black and Decker juicer, but the motor quit working. I then tried the juicing attachment for the KitchenAid, but I didn't like it. When looking for a replacement, I focused on juicers with positive user feedback. The Courant juicer was one of the highest-rated ones and has adjustable pulp settings, which is important to me. I don't understand why some juicers only have one filter setting. The Courant juicer looks cool and is smaller than the Black & Decker, but the base is light, so I'm worried about the motor's durability. The reamer's reverse rotation may be useful, but it does a great job of extracting juice even with a single direction spin. I like lots of pulp, so I only use the widest filter setting, which works well on its own. The special spin feature to extract more juice from the pulp is a mixed bag and requires some effort to prevent making a mess. Overall, I give the Courant juicer 5 stars, hoping that the motor lasts a long time.

This juicer is fantastic for juicing limes for mixed drinks. It's much better than using a citrus reamer, as it has an auto reverse feature and a selectable pulp control feature. It's also easy to clean and has a high-speed setting to get all the juice out. The only downside is that it's a bit big, but overall it's a great product at a great price. I've been able to make delicious mojitos all summer with it.

I was tired of using a manual juicer so I decided to get an electronic one. This juicer works well, extracting all the juice from citrus fruits. The final spin feature is a bit gimmicky but it's okay. It requires some effort to use, but it's manageable for most people. It can juice all sizes of citrus fruits and holds up well. Cleaning the plastic parts can be a bit tricky, especially the strainer area. However, overall I like it and it seems to be well-designed. The only concern is the motor having to work hard, but so far it's holding up. I would recommend it and think the extra money for this unit was worth it.

I love using fresh lime juice for my margaritas, but hand squeezing limes can be a hassle, especially since I can't get tree ripened limes here in DC. So, I ordered a juicer expecting it to be smaller, but it showed up in a huge box. Despite my initial disappointment, it works really well. The motor is powerful and the pulp scraper turns easily. I like that it often rotates in the other direction when I stop and restart. You can adjust the openings to control the amount of pulp that gets through and the spout can be lifted to cut off the flow of juice. The top section comes apart for easy cleaning, although the area where the on/off valve is located is hard to clean. My only issue is the size - it's too big, especially for limes. But I guess the powerful motor requires some size. Overall, I'm pleased with it, but I would really love a juicer like the ones I've seen in Europe, where you can just throw the limes in and it does everything for you.
