I purchased this product for making nacho cheese and it performed well, but it does get extremely hot even on the warm setting. I had to continuously stir the cheese, but for the price, it served its purpose. However, it may need to be checked on regularly.

After finally using my slow cooker, I fell in love with it. I bought a 1.5-quart slow cooker because I couldn't lift my larger one, and it's perfect for 1 or 2 people. I made a pot roast, and even though it said a 3lb roast would fit, my 2.29 lb roast was too large. I ended up cooking half of the roast, and it turned out delicious, giving me two additional meals. About 30 minutes before the roast was cooked, I added fresh carrots.

This is the second time I've ordered this product and it's great for 1-2 serving meals. It's a different version from the one I bought in 202The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's no light to indicate if it's still on, unlike the original one I got 2 years ago. I bought a second one so I could make 2 meals at the same time, as it takes a long time for one to cool off before I can wash it and start a second meal.
