Rapidly Heating

I've been thinking about getting a hot plate for my iron cookware, and this one is perfect. It's compact, easy to clean, and heats up quickly. I was hesitant because of reviews saying it's slow to heat, but I tried it and it heated to over 500�� in less than a minute. It's great for cooking on my kitchen counter and makes cleanup easy. I highly recommend it.

hot plate not suitable for pressure canning.

This burner does not get hot enough to build up steam in a pressure canner, even on its highest setting after being left on for over an hour with all hot ingredients, jars, and water. It may be suitable for normal cooking, but it is not suitable for pressure canning.

This stove top was purchased 2 years ago and has been used in one of our STR units. It is well-liked by guests and easy to maintain. It works great, boils water, doesn't take up much space, and has a nice appearance.

I bought a portable dual side-by-side burner but it didn't work well. I did more research and found a powerful unit with separate burners that works great. It's too early to tell about durability, but so far, I'm happy with my purchase.

This small device is incredibly powerful with two hot plates, one of which is Xtra powerful. It's just as effective and efficient as a full stove, except it doesn't have an oven.

The iron burners heat up slowly but maintain steady heat once they reach the right temperature. Caution should be taken with children as the whole unit heats up even with only one burner on.
