Very good product, this is my second one. One thing I wish to have is a switch on it so I do not need to unplug each time. One time, I forgot to unplug and it gets a burning smell and can be dangerous.

Pancakes made with this are much fluffier and far less likely to burn compared to flipping them in a pan on the stove. Note however that this does not brown both sides of the pancake at the same time the way waffle makers do. You still have to open the cooker and flip the pancake to get both sides properly. There is just too much distance between the top and bottom for the pancake to hit both sides at the same time. On the plus side, you don't get batter flowing out the edges and making a mess like waffle makers do.

If you don't feel like using the stove, this appliance is a fantastic alternative. It makes awesome pancakes, omelets, pizzas, toasted sandwiches, and more. As a vegan, I eat a lot of tofu, and I found this appliance perfect for making crispy, delicious tofu "meats" without much fuss. Cleaning is super easy���just wipe it down, and any food residue is gone. If you're a busy person, I highly recommend this appliance for its convenience and time-saving features.

I use this litter thing more often than my 220 electric stove. I'm a 1 person household and I can make most any single serving dish I care to. I've cook eggs, stake mini pizza, grilled cheese... I'm still exploring all the possibilities. Thank you. Oh yes and doesn't heat up my kitchen as we experience heat temperatures >100 degrees in the Spring and Summer.

This was another "renewed" purchase made without hesitation. Almost everything has been a great deal so far, and this was a delightful surprise as it was unused. I can utilize this dual-purpose appliance effectively. I found a small 7-inch wok that fits perfectly and provides more room for stir-frying. While it has only one temperature setting and takes a minute to heat up, once it's ready, it's hot. This compact griddle allows for diverse cooking options like grilled cheese and chicken taquitos. I've used it to make pancakes, grilled cheese, fried eggs, and today, a quesadilla. It makes perfect pancakes, although only one at a time. I recommend making a bunch ahead of time, storing them in the fridge, and reheating as desired. One challenge I faced was sliding the fried egg onto the plate without a spatula because the appliance was too hot to handle without potholders. However, the egg turned out perfectly. The cooking surfaces are suitable for sandwiches and patties. For Tex-Mex dishes, I use regular or "burrito-sized" tortillas. Cooking time is quick, with just a couple of minutes to warm up and a couple more for actual cooking.

I needed a solution for heating frozen corn tortillas without frying them. I placed two frozen tortillas on the grill plate, closed the lid, and checked on them after a minute or so. They came out perfect���ready to fill and enjoy! I'm thrilled with my choice and impressed by its performance. If you're in need of a simple device for heating tortillas, give this one a try. It doesn't have any gauges, buttons, or thermostats, so you'll need to monitor your food the old-fashioned way. Not an issue for me, but if you prefer more sophisticated mechanisms, this might not be the right fit for you.
