Just keep in mind that this is a basic plug-in waffle maker with no temperature control or removable plates. Simply plug it in, wait for the light to turn off, spray it, pour in your batter, and close the lid. For the recipe I use, I pour the batter slowly and spread it out before gently closing the lid to avoid sticking. After cooking, use a pair of tongs to lift them out.
