This toaster is very fast, but the bread doesn't fit all the way in and sticks out the top, so it doesn't brown evenly. Even when I try putting the bread in sideways, it still doesn't brown consistently. I prefer my toast lighter, so I don't leave it in for long, but maybe setting it to a darker shade would help with the uneven browning. Other reviewers were right that the higher settings might just burn the toast. Overall, for the price, it works fine but I wouldn't use the higher settings.

The old toaster I had was almost twice the size but didn't offer any additional features compared to this one. This toaster is perfect for my needs - it fits well on my counter, has easy access for cleaning, and stays cool to the touch. I don't see the need to spend more money on a toaster when all I need it to do is make toast. I previously had a favorite inexpensive toaster from a chain store which I got for a great price and it lasted me ten years.

This toaster is great because it's very quiet and hardly makes any noise when it pops. It won't startle the cats, just give them a little twitch. It does a good job toasting and it's perfect for when you need to be sneaky about making toast.

This toaster is very simple, which I appreciate. However, I don't like that it's not made of aluminum. I also read that the knob on the front is difficult to see for adjusting the settings. Maybe I'll add some color to make it easier to use.

The toaster works fine overall, but it does have a few minor quirks. It tends to toast on the darker side, so we had to use a lower setting. We did burn some toast at first. The grid lines it creates on the toast make the kids laugh. It doesn't toast very evenly, but it gets the job done consistently. We haven't had any major problems with it, and it's a good value for the price.
