Solid mixer that handles tough dough well. It comes with solid, dishwasher-safe attachments and has smooth speed transitions. Easy to store but the quick release can be accidentally hit. Lacks a cord cutout in the case, making storage tricky. This mixer endured multiple batches of tough doughs like chocolate chip cookies and bread. It can get hot and slow down, but it remains reliable. The dough hooks are good, and the whisk, though small, is handy for travel. The biggest issue is the quick release button placement and the lack of a cord cutout. It also starts fast then slows down, which is unusual. Overall, a solid mixer that I'm glad I bought.

This mixer has a true low speed, which is rare. It's not very powerful, but I use a stand mixer for heavy mixing. Works well for cake batter and thin mixtures.

This is a good mixer, but the low setting is too fast, causing batter to splatter. Would likely not purchase again.

Purchased this to replace a previous mixer that couldn't handle low speeds and splattered everywhere. The Courant CHM1550 starts slowly to prevent splattering. Courant never disappoints.

My wife used it over Thanksgiving. Very handy and useful. Great value due to its low price and functionality.

Beaters are not as sturdy as expected.
