This is easy to use and clean, but still trying to find the best donut recipe to use with an electric machine. Have tried a few and the texture/taste are OK but so far it resembles more like a mini bagel than a soft cake-like donut. The temperature may be hard to control too so you're not overcooking it so you have to definitely experiment with this to get the best tasting donut. The food board is a plus!

Manually flipping doesn't work well. (Being partially cooked, they fall apart) Also this requires you to hover and clock-watch, making this a pretty inconvenient little product in my opinion. I don't understand why the donuts need to be flipped if they're in a two-sided device (it looks like a waffle iron, so I thought same principle). Three stars because as it did work properly as designed... just weird design

Most weekends this gets used. Works well, use the pastry bag for dough, and depending on recipe, you don't always have to flip the donuts.

It's better to use cake mix and water. A tiny bit of oil in the doughnut pans. And pancake batter. I suggest. A little thicker than pancake batter. Overall, it's easy to clean, just wipe with a damp light dish soap water and wipe clean and dry with paper towel.
