Toasting with this machine is a bit tricky as you have to turn the bread over due to its two-element design. It also heats up very quickly, leading to burnt items. I'm donating mine and buying something else.

Mixed feelings here. My old one had three elements and two racks, toasting both sides of bread simultaneously. The new one only toasts one side at a time.
