I really like this burner because it's so convenient when I can't use the stove. It takes a little longer than a gas stove to heat up, but for an electric plug-in, it's pretty amazing. It's definitely an essential for college or if you don't have access to your kitchen.

It takes a while to heat up, but that's normal for a cast iron burner. It seems a bit less powerful, but it distributes heat evenly and stays hot even after turning it off. It holds heat well. The quality and appearance are excellent, with no unexpected issues. The price reflects its performance. I recommend it.
