But it's still powerful and efficient - it ground up biscuits, cornbread, celery and onions for the dressing, and sliced potatoes for the casserole with ease. The jar lock on the base is difficult to use at first, but you will eventually get the hang of it. It's a good value for the money. However, you do have to cut vegetables to fit them into the chute. Nevertheless, it's worth it for the price we paid.
