Purchased the 3qrt slow cooker specifically for making and bringing dishes like rotel dip to work. I was initially concerned that it might be too large, but it was the perfect size for making a 32oz block of Velveeta / rotel dip. Even after adding sausage, rotel, green chilies, a little crab boil, and some cream cheese, the slow cooker still had plenty of room once everything melted and incorporated. Overall, I have no complaints about this slow cooker and plan to use it regularly.

I really enjoy using this small slow cooker. As a single person, it's perfect for making soups without making too much. I recently made Swedish Pea Soup by flavoring the stock with smoked ham hocks and unsalted chicken stock for 6 hours on high, then adding yellow peas, celery, onion, and black pepper for overnight cooking on low. The 'warm' option and removable crock make it easy to use and clean. Overall, it's a great little slow cooker and would make a great gift.

I had to toss it and may need to re-order a new one.
