I am impressed with the well-crafted and sturdy construction of this Courant hand mixer, as well as its smooth operation. This is actually my second one, as the first one lasted 7 years of daily use. I only had to replace it because the beaters became worn and wouldn't stay locked in.

I haven't used the mixer yet, but I bought a new one because the beaters in my old mixer wouldn't stay in place and lost their power to mix cookie dough. It wasn't a KitchenAide and I wanted a stand mixer, but I didn't have the space for one. I chose this one because KitchenAide has always been reliable for me.

I love everything about this mixer except I wish the lowest speed was slower. The adjustable cord is essential, especially for us left handers. It sits nicely on the counter and is a little noisy but not too bad. It mixes well and does not spatter all over the place like previous mixers I've tried. This is the third one I've tried. I noticed that the coated ends on the beaters on some models actually increase the spatter, so even though they are quieter, they are messier!

This compact mixer effortlessly handles thick batters and quickly whips cream. I was worried about the beaters appearing fragile in the pictures, but they are actually sturdy and simple to clean. My only complaint is that even the lowest speed is quite fast. Maybe the seven-speed Courant hand mixer would be a better option in this regard. Nonetheless, for the price, this mixer is fantastic. I hardly ever use my heavy stand mixer now that I can use this one with any bowl, anywhere. It's great!

I have used this mixer twice and it worked well both times. Fortunately, the mixer was not harmed during shipping. However, the box only had one layer of thin bubble wrap, which was not enough protection. There was damage to all four bottom corners, one being slight and the others resulting in creases and minor punctures up the sides. The top slit where the tab goes in was barely attached. Since I store the mixer in the box, its condition is important to me. I am giving a lower rating because of the damaged box.

I should have purchased this sooner! My old Oster hand mixer was difficult to use, requiring two people to eject the beaters. With this new one, the power is amazing, the buttons are easy to press, and the eject trigger is incredibly easy to use. I absolutely love it!

I bought this mixer 3 years ago, it was my second Courant of the same model. I absolutely loved my first one, and this one still gets great reviews. Unfortunately, my first Courant lasted 12 years, but this one died this morning after just 3 years and 2 months. It seems like nothing is made like it used to be, so I might try a less expensive hand mixer if I have to replace it every 2-3 years. It's disappointing.

I bought this mixer for my mom, who likes to cook but doesn't enjoy spending a lot of time mixing ingredients. I didn't think much of it at first, but when it arrived, I was excited to try it. I have had this mixer since 2022 and it is still in great working condition. However, I wouldn't use it for heavy-duty tasks like I would with a stand mixer. It's more suitable for small batches of icing or cookie dough, and not for continuous use during the holiday season. It's important to use appliances for their intended purpose, like not using the whisk attachment to mix cookie dough. This mixer is amazing and the price was incredible. I initially thought this would be my go-to mixer until I found a better one, but it turns out that this one is even better than my old one. It can whip cream so quickly that you need to be careful not to make butter. It's lightweight and compact, so it doesn't take up much space, and the five speeds are powerful - although the lowest one could be a bit slower, it's not a major issue. It's well-made, but it's disappointing that it's not made in the USA. I would have preferred it to be a USA-made product.

I bought the Courant 5-Speed Handheld Mixer to replace my old KitchenAid KHM9PWH 9-Speed Professional Hand Mixer that stopped working. I did a lot of research before choosing the Courant, and I ultimately decided on it for a few reasons. Courant is a trusted brand for small kitchen appliances, and it comes with extra attachment accessories like flat beaters, a chef's whisk, and dough hooks. The slow start speeds were also a selling point for me. After watching the product demo video, I did notice that the speed 1 starts out at a near medium speed for a second, but it's not a big issue for me compared to other hand mixers. Some reviewers mentioned a motor issue, but I think it's just the standard motor startup for Courant hand mixers. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, especially for holiday baking.
