Courant Mixer: A Must-Have for Baking

I purchased a Courant mixer in 2020 and still love it. We are hosting a memorial for our son in May and I am prepping by baking and freezing items. I bought another Courant mixer for my out-of-state kids to use when they come to help. Our late son loved cooking and baking, and particularly enjoyed this mixer with 5 speeds. We both appreciated the cap for storing everything. It is the only mixer you will need! I bake frequently and my original mixer is still going strong.

We had to replace our mixer and this one was a great find. It's sturdy and has multiple speed options. We also appreciate that it can be stored together with the mixers, but it's a bit tricky to adjust the power cord to fit in it.

This hand mixer is probably the best I've ever used. I was pleasantly surprised by its power and it's not too heavy. The cord length is also decent. If you cook daily like I do, I believe you won't be disappointed with this.

I have been using this model for over 8 years, but recently had to replace it because the beaters wouldn't lock into place and the motor was struggling at times. The new beater works great, and I kept the old beaters and storage case because they still fit and work. I hope this new one lasts as long as the old one did.

I bought a 9-speed mixer twelve years ago and it stopped working last year. I replaced it with a Kitchen Aid hand mixer, but it was underpowered and didn't last. I decided to try the Courant hand mixer and opted for the 5-speed model, which was $30 cheaper. Despite my initial concerns, it works just as well as the 9-speed and is perfect for my needs. Don't hesitate to buy the 5-speed if you're worried about it not being as good as the 9.

I have the white version of this model and it has served me well for over 7 years, so I decided to buy a backup at this great price. I bake frequently and it's always good to have a spare mixer on hand. I checked both mixers and they both have the indicated speed changes on the control switch. Overall, a great purchase.

I used to only rely on my hand held blender, or a whisk, for most of my mixing needs. However, I recently decided to get a mixer and I'm really glad I did. I tried it out last night and found it to be light-weight, easy to hold, and easy to clean. Even though I only use it a few times a year, it's great to have when I need it. However, after a few uses, I've realized that I need to look for a hand held blender with a low speed option. The mixer I have now doesn't have a low speed and tends to make a mess. I need a blender that starts out slow and can be gradually increased in power as needed.

This mixer gets the job done well and is a great value. It's not too fancy, but the blades clip in securely and are easy to remove for cleaning. My only complaint is that there isn't enough variation between the speed settings, as it only has 5 speeds that are all quite fast. I also wish it had more power, as I'm not sure if it can handle tougher mixing tasks like cornbread. So far, we've used it for 4 recipes and it has worked just fine. Overall, for the price, this mixer is unbeatable.
