I used this processor with carrots and noticed that the top started to wobble. When I removed it, a small plastic part from the lid broke off. I attempted to find a replacement part or purchase a new lid, but received no help or response. I had only owned it for a month.

I bought a Courant food processor for my wife to use for early Christmas baking, but unfortunately, a part was missing when we opened it. I contacted the manufacturer, and they were out of stock of the missing part, so they offered to send us an upgraded model at no cost. I initially had trouble with the shredder, as it didn't work despite being plugged in, locked, and set to speed 1. I tried different outlets, but it was still dead. I am exchanging it for a new one and hoping for better results. If the replacement works, I will adjust my star rating accordingly.

This product has been so useful and convenient. I've used it multiple times this summer to shred zucchini for zucchini bread and to make coleslaw. I've also used it to puree tomatoes for sauce. It's very powerful and easy to use, with simple controls. And the price was great.

This machine is fantastic and really gets the job done, with sharp blades that work well. However, it is quite large and bulky. One thing to note is that it can be quite dangerous as it cut my mom's finger even though she was being very careful. I had read a review mentioning this before, and I mentioned it to my mom, but she still got injured.

I'm not an expert chef, so I don't require an expensive $200+ food processor. I just need one that can chop, slice, and puree effectively. This food processor fits the bill. It's easy to use, appears to be well constructed, and looks stylish on the counter. The feeding tube is slightly smaller than the pricier processors, but it has worked well for me. I would suggest it.

I never realized how much I needed a food processor until I bought this one. It's incredibly powerful, able to chop things in just seconds, and has made trying new recipes so much more enjoyable. I used to avoid certain dishes because of the amount of chopping involved, but now I can easily make them. It's helped us eat healthier with more homemade meals and has made trying new foods exciting. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the plastic isn't dishwasher safe. But aside from that, it's fantastic and definitely worth the investment.

I originally bought this product for making homemade pizza dough, but my wife has taken over and uses it for slicing all sorts of ingredients and making sauces. I bought the food processor because our blender stopped working. I decided to buy a multipurpose food processor and was pleasantly surprised to receive it overnight. I'm really excited about it, it works great. It doesn't puree, it only blends, but it's still a keeper. However, you need to be careful unpacking it. I got sliced by the blade pretty deep, which sent me into a state of panic and trauma. I will update to let you know if it lasts or breaks within the purchased warranty.

As a combat veteran, I purchased this for my wife but have found that I am using it more than she does. While she hasn't used it yet, I have used it a lot. I've shredded cheese and cooked chicken with the shredding blade, and chopped fruit and vegetables to a powder. This machine is a powerhouse. We've used this probably five times now to make sausages and other meat products that involve mixing ice in while mincing the meat, so the machine has to work hard. So far it has done a decent job and the motor seems strong enough. At first it smelled a bit like it was over heating but I think it's because it was new, now the smell is not as strong. We bought this for size and hopefully power. While I'd like it to be bigger yet, I can work in batches and we haven't blown the motor so far, touch wood. We only use the knife tool and occasionally the slicer. Does the job.

I absolutely love this food processor - it's been a game-changer for me. It's incredibly efficient, saving me a ton of time and effort in the kitchen. With it, I can easily and quickly slice and shred fruits and veggies. It's also great for making salsa, tomato paste, ginger garlic paste, and so much more. The processor comes with a variety of blades, including a chopper blade, a dough kneader blade, and a slicing and shredding round reversible blade, as well as a spatula. Highly recommend!

I generally agree with the positive 5-star reviews, but I did deduct one star due to a loose metal object inside the base motor that causes rattling when the motor is off. This makes me uncomfortable and I may return the Courant 800W to get a replacement unit from the same company.

The Food processor I received was well-packaged in a recyclable brown cardboard box, without any annoying plastic clamshells. The main unit and accessories were individually wrapped in plastic, ensuring that everything was scratch-free. Inside the box, I found the base unit with a 600-watt motor, a large clear bowl with a handle, stainless steel and plastic blades, a detachable shaft, and various other accessories. The manual and leaflet provided helpful tips on how to assemble and use the processor.

I chose to wash the parts in my dishwasher, despite not being sure if it was safe to do so. Luckily, all the parts came out unharmed. The suction feet and lock icon on the base unit and bowl were great safety features, ensuring that the processor wouldn't operate without the cover properly in place. The knob with four different positions made it easy to operate, and I appreciated the pulse function and the two different speeds.

I mainly use the food processor to make quinoa porridge for my baby and to chop tough ingredients like hazelnuts. I found the Julienne slicer to be quite handy, and the ability to switch between Julienne and rough slicing by reversing a disc was convenient. The noise level of the processor depends on the type of food being processed, but overall, it wasn't horribly loud.

After each use, I simply rinse the parts and place them in the dishwasher. If the bowl is heavily soiled, I fill it with water and dish detergent. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance and features of this food processor.

I'm replacing my old Hamilton Beach that I've had for 40 years, and this Courant product seems to be just as good so far. I really wasn't sure about this purchase being what I wanted to do with it, but it worked beautifully. I was able to grate a coconut. Hopefully I will be able to grate yuca too. You have to lock it correctly for it to work which is a nice safety feature, it is easy to clean. Assembly was a snap.

This blender was different from what I am used to. It took me a while to figure out that the black safety center piece had to be installed to be able to get the blending or slicing features to work and spin. Would have liked to have a 14 cup blender, but couldn't find one with a reasonable price and simple features.
