This mixer is very nice looking and has various speeds and turbo, but the speed control is very sensitive. If you don't mind cleaning up the mess it makes, then this is the mixer for you. When you lift it out of the bowl, the control is very close to your hand and even though you turn it off, a very light touch will turn it back on and sling whatever you are mixing all over. This is the only drawback to this mixer. If the switch was a little less sensitive, it would be a great mixer. I have learned to unplug it from the electrical outlet before lifting it out of the bowl. I would have given it a five-star rating if not for that.

I did a thorough research on hand mixers before buying this product. One thing I noticed was how loud it was, but I also observed how it was manufactured. When I unpacked it, I ran it (without using it) for a few minutes at a time. I started on lower speeds, ran it for about a minute, turned it off, and let it cool. It was very loud. I repeated this process a few times on the lowest speed, then increased the speed. The noise level improved after several repetitions. Finally, when I used it a few days later, I was very happy with the reduced noise level and the strong mixing power.

I replaced my 1999 hand mixer with a new one because of its powerful reviews. It's definitely strong, but the beaters are harder to clean due to the grooves. I purchased this hand mixer with the understanding that it was not high quality and would not last a long time. However, I was disappointed to find that it became unusable after only two uses.

Pros: It has a lot of power and worked well when I used it to make chocolate chip cookies.

Cons: 1) The lowest speed is vert fasr. 2) After just two uses, the attachments do not stay in place and the mixer vibrates excessively. The dough hooks even fell out when I tried to mix a lightweight dough.

Overall, this mixer did not meet my needs and I will be returning it.
