I had to replace my old Courant 4 slot toaster because I accidentally broke one of the knobs when putting it back in the cabinet. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed. I really liked my old toaster, but I tried a number of different models before settling on the Courant. Despite being cheaper than some fancier toasters, it actually performs better than ones that cost three times as much. The new toaster is easy to use with nice controls, and most importantly, it toasts bread and bagels perfectly and quickly. I haven't tried the defrost cycle yet, but for the price, it's perfect for me. It may not have a fancy stainless steel design, but I bought it to toast things, not to look at. I highly recommend it, and I was not compensated for this review.

This toaster is excellent. It comes with settings for frozen items and bagels, as well as knobs to control the level of toasting for each side.

The toaster has been working fine, although there was a strange smell the first time we used it. We checked for any leftover stickers but couldn't find the source of the smell. The second time using it, there was no smell. The cord is a bit short, but the toaster works fine. However, the delivery of the product was odd. The package was delivered late at night by a delivery driver in a beat-up old minivan who didn't follow my delivery instructions. Please do better on shipping, rest is fine

Both kids and adults love the bagel feature, which toasts on one side, making them tastier and easier to eat. The toast comes out perfectly every time, and the option to use 2 slots or 4 slots has reduced the morning rush. My family has bid farewell to the old toaster and has embraced this new one. It has become a great addition to our family meals and snack times.

We bought this toaster to replace our old one which didn't meet our expectations. It works fine and the controls are simple to use. However, it gives off a lot of heat while in use, so we have to pull it out from under the pantry. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sides of the bread are slightly unevenly toasted, but it's not a big issue.

The lever on this toaster is easily pushed down, but does not always stay down. However, the toaster itself is sturdy and toasts bread well. It would be better if the plug could be stored inside the toaster instead of wrapping over the top. Overall, it should last for a few years.
