I've used this rice cooker twice, making 4 cups each time, and thankfully, no leaking from the lid. However, I did notice that after being on warm for a few minutes, the rice at the bottom started to brown. Unplugging it right after cooking helped, but it still slightly browned.

To avoid any browning or soggy spots, I fluff the rice right after cooking and periodically when serving. Cleaning is a breeze - I hand wash with a soft sponge to protect the non-stick coating. I've been using this rice cooker for over a year now, and it's been smooth sailing. No rice spillage or water bubbling issues here. I suspect those problems might arise from not rinsing the rice properly before cooking. My only hiccup has been rice browning when left too long on the warm setting. To avoid that, I just unplug the unit near the end of the cooking cycle. Overall, it's a solid performer, especially considering the price. Couldn't be happier with my IMUSA rice cooker!
