The toaster has wide slots that can accommodate half a bagel and the toast timer works well. However, the cord storage is not very efficient and it's difficult to open the tray without a tool or risking a broken fingernail. But considering the price of $20, it's a decent bargain.

The toaster is a great value and accurately described. Make sure to clean the crumb tray and shake out any debris before first use. Run it through a few cycles to burn off any plastic shavings. It's normal to see and smell smoke during the first uses. The toaster is faster than the previous one and does an excellent job at toasting. The slots are a decent width, but may not fit a large bagel. After reading many reviews, I'm happy with my choice.
