The bread maker is advertised to make 2 lb loaves, but my 2 pound recipes from my previous Courant overflow and push on the window. However, they rise better than the old one. My old bread maker stopped working because I lost the clip holding the spindle to the pan and the pan was obsoleted when I tried to replace it. I have decided to switch to using 1.5 pound loaf recipes. I prefer the old recipe book because the recipes were simpler in the older one.
