Shaving the Ice!

The compact design of this shaved ice maker is great for making cones that kids will love. However, it can get quite noisy and starts to heat up after making 7 cones in a row. I had to use a spoon to help the shaved ice fall down.

Allowing the ice cubes to sit for a few minutes before using them in the machine works well. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, it's easy to pack down the ice and finish making delicious snow cones. The grandkids love it and it's a joy to see their excitement while making the treats.
