I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and experiencing a severe ice craving. It is September and I couldn't find a snow cone/ice shaver in stores, so I ordered this one. I am overall pleased with it. The machine came with 4 reusable snow cones, 4 colorful straws, and a small squirtable bottle for making syrup. However, the snow cone holder shown in the photo was missing from the box. I improvised by using a big plastic cup under the chute, but it could be a hassle for those who want to use the snow cone cups. Also, the machine does not have an on/off switch, and it starts working as soon as you screw on the tip lid. I wish there was a switch to give more time to get the cup situated, especially when using a cone. The instructions recommend using slightly melted ice cubes. The machine can hold about 6 large ice cubes and makes about 1 snow cone at a time. It meets my needs, but if I intended to use it for children, I would likely be upset about the missing snow cone holder.
