The crockpot I purchased is small and adorable. I bought it to keep my food warm, not to cook in. However, after reading the warnings, I found out that it's only meant for gradual temperature changes. So in order to keep my food warm, I have to have some liquid inside warming up to the approximate temperature of the food. There were a lot of warnings, but I highlighted them all. If I hadn't done that, I would have returned it.

This small slow cooker is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased it specifically to use as a scenting simmer pot, but it also works well for small amounts of food like dips. Just be sure to monitor the temperature closely when cooking food. Overall, I am happy with its performance.
