After ordering the item, I was worried about its size based on reviews about its suitability for cheese. However, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised as the pictures didn't do it justice. It can easily hold 6 cups of water. I haven't used it yet, so I can't comment on how easy it is to use, but with only 4 settings, I don't expect it to be too complicated.

I find the small size of this appliance to be perfect for side dishes and for controlling portion sizes in small households. I mainly use it for cooking lentil stew and beans, and have found that using about half a cup of lentils or beans with one cup of water on high for three hours is perfect for 2-3 servings. I love this appliance and would highly recommend it. We use it several times a week.
