I bought the single burner INFRARED burner to use with my backup power system in my Prius. It can be adjusted from 100 to 1500 watts, making it great for off-grid living and precise cooking. It can cook at lower wattage and doesn't require special magnetic pots and pans. Starting dishes at a higher temperature and then lowering it is more efficient. The default starting temperature of 1500 watts is a downside. A chart showing temperature to wattage would be helpful.

We utilized the Impecca for preparing fondue recently and it performed as expected. It's easy to clean but requires a three-prong extension cord.

This single burner electric kitchen appliance was not what I was expecting when I ordered a hot plate. However, it turned out to be a sturdy and reliable product that I would recommend for its value. I plan to include it in my kitchen remodel and would purchase it again.

I prefer this burner over coil style hot plates.
