We tested 3 different portable cooktops: two infrared and one induction. We like that it has a wide surface, non-slip coating, easy-to-clean glass top, fast heating, compatibility with all cookware, and hooks for hanging. Suggestions for the manufacturer include setting default power to 50%, simplifying the buttons, and considering a rectangular design. We plan to keep this cooktop and see how it holds up over time.

I purchased this hot plate because my cooktop cracked and new ranges are hard to find due to COVID. I am pleased with this hot plate - it heats quickly, has precise temperature control, and is easy to clean. I love the soup function and the ability to set the timer. I may just continue using this instead of a stove. I highly recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotplate. It doesn't have temperature control, but the ability to set wattage in 100 watt increments from 100 to 1500 is even more useful. It allows me to control the rate of boiling when I'm making soup, and I can also use it to keep food warm without boiling. The box it comes in is also great for storing the unit.

I love this little cook top, I bought it for the kitchen at work. I wasn't expecting much for heat put out, but this little thing is hot!

This burner is convenient to carry with two side handles and has a sensitive touch up switches. The glass on top is easy to clean. It does not have a temperature display, but the wattage is showing. It is an infrared burner and I am happy with my decision to purchase it. I recommend it.
