After a regrettable experience with a fancy digital model full of features I never used, I'm back to basics with this one-button cooker. It's faster than my previous upgrade and handles brown rice and oatmeal just fine. Cleaning is a breeze, and I've never had any issues with sticking or spills. Life's complicated; cooking rice shouldn't be. -

We eyeball the water level using the finger trick: fill to the first knuckle, fingertip touching the rice. Simple and spot on! The box looked rough upon arrival, but the cooker was unharmed. -
