If you pour 5.5 quarts of liquid into the pot, it will fill it to the top. When I poured in 5 quarts, it only came up to just below the rim where the glass top sits. So, I would consider this to be a 5-quart crockpot.

This item is great .My husband even take the mini version to work to heat up his lunch, and he loves that his food is ready by lunchtime and tastes fresh. I also love the main crockpot - it's easy to use and clean. I liked it so much that I bought a second one as a wedding gift for my daughter and her husband. It's definitely worth the price and I highly recommend it for yourself or as a gift.

This crockpot has been working well for me. I recently used it to make meat sauce for spaghetti, and it performed satisfactorily. The construction is average for the price I paid. The handles are securely attached, but the lid seems a bit cheaply made. However, it has shown no signs of falling apart or causing any problems. The inner crock is solid and easy to clean due to the glaze. Overall, it's a good no-frills crockpot. I have yet to try the mini crock that came with it. It appears to be a one-piece unit that will require hand washing, and the lid is made of cheap plastic. It should be suitable for warming cheese dip.

I regret not purchasing the larger size of this crockpot, as it has a convenient weep channel around the rim that prevents messy spattering and loud simmering noises. The smaller size may not fit a whole chicken unless it's defrosted and squished. However, the crockpot works well and I expect it to last a long time. It's a simple model, but simplicity is better for longevity. I will update my review if I encounter any issues with this crockpot.

This product is fantastic. I had a 30 year old Rival crockpot that I couldn't find parts for, and this one replaced it perfectly. I really appreciate the stainless steel look and the rotary switch, which I believe will be more durable than the push button controls on other, more expensive models. I highly recommend this product.

My husband purchased this pot for me 3 years ago and I absolutely adore it! Despite the fact that it steams and bubbles, I don't mind at all - I just use a pot holder to move the lid. Although the outside of the pot can get hot, I simply avoid touching it. I recently bought the same pot for my brother-in-law and he loves it as well. It's an excellent choice for first-time crockpot cooks and the accompanying cook book offers great, simple recipes.

I have cooked roughly 30 dishes in this slow cooker, including soup, stew, pulled pork, pulled beef, chili, and more! It never burns my food and keeps it warm. The preparation process is extremely simple!

This pot has only been used twice so far and it seems to be working well. However, I regret buying the larger size as I rarely cook for more than two or three people. It's just too big, unless I'm cooking enough to freeze leftovers which I typically only do on the weekends. I found that when making smaller amounts, I had to add more liquid because the recipe's original amount evaporated almost entirely. The lid may be partially to blame as it doesn't fit tightly enough. A suggestion would be to double the amount of liquid called for in the recipe when cooking less than a full pot.
