Quality Amazing!!!
Review by Maine / (Posted on 1/27/2024)I recently tried out this hand blender for the first time and was extremely impressed. As I have been trying to incorporate more soups into my diet, I purchased some condensed cream of chicken soup. I struggled to blend the soup concentrate with water, but using this hand blender made the process effortless. I simply added the condensed soup and water to a bowl, gave it two or three quick one-second bursts with the blender, followed by one longer blast for about three seconds, and the soup was perfectly blended. It looked as though it had been simmering on the stove for hours. I am amazed at how quickly and easily the hand blender was able to do its job. I am looking forward to using this hand blender for many years to come for soups and other dishes. You will not regret investing in this hand blender. -
Quality Small but mighty handheld blender
Review by Dorothy_P. / (Posted on 1/25/2024)I have a collection of stick blenders for making soap, and this Courant is the best one I've found. It's easy to use, lightweight, and gets the job done well. I wouldn't use it for hot process soap, but it's great for cold process. I would definitely buy it again, though I would recommend washing it separately to prevent damage. -
Quality Speedy Smoothie Maker
Review by Trisha / (Posted on 1/20/2024)This is my second time purchasing this product and I absolutely love it for creating frothy coffee. -
Quality Affordable and powerful hand blender
Review by Bit_ / (Posted on 1/17/2024)We found the perfect immersion blender with a plastic end that won't damage our pans. It is powerful and comes at a much lower cost compared to other brands. -
Quality Just what I wanted!
Review by SneakyKitty / (Posted on 1/5/2024)This blender is just right - not too powerful, not too weak, simply gets the job done perfectly. -
Quality Convenient, user-friendly hand blender
Review by DBLUniqueName / (Posted on 1/5/2024)I found the hand blender to be perfect for my needs. It is smaller than others on the market and doesn't have a lot of extra attachments, which is exactly what I was looking for. It can be operated with just one hand and has multiple speeds. It's also easy to clean, as the blade part is dishwasher safe. I specifically wanted a blender for smoothing out soups, potatoes, and purees, and this one is perfect for that. -
Quality Runs well!
Review by SGadroit / (Posted on 12/10/2023)Purchased this for creating cocktails but found it useful for other uses such as mixing pie. Performs excellently. -
Quality Hand immersion blender
Review by John12 / (Posted on 12/5/2023)This blender meets my needs perfectly. -
Quality Still in great condition for soap making since 2017!
Review by FIY / (Posted on 11/6/2023)I purchased this stick blender in 2017 for soap making and it's still going strong. I only use it occasionally, so it hasn't been heavily used. However, I want to caution others about using a stick blender for soap making. Some people have experienced burnouts because they use the blender for too long without letting it cool down. Soap making requires a lot of mixing over a long period of time, so I use my stick blender for about 30 seconds and then let it rest for a few minutes before using it again. This prevents it from overheating and I believe it will prolong its lifespan for years to come. -
Quality Mixer
Review by Bea_Lizarro / (Posted on 10/9/2023)The product is great and works well. I highly recommend it. -
Quality Looks fine.
Review by Zoe / (Posted on 8/25/2023)I have checked the blender to ensure its functionality, but have not yet employed it. The quality seems to be satisfactory. -
Quality Great immersion wand
Review by CC2 / (Posted on 8/16/2023)The product is simple and convenient to use. -
Quality The one hand blender on that stands out for my needs.
Review by LoneWolf92 / (Posted on 7/11/2023)After my 25+ year old 120W Braun hand blender stopped working, I went on a search for a replacement and discovered that there are so many options on . I tried out a few highly-rated, high-powered hand blenders but ended up returning them because they didn't meet my needs. The Courant hand blender stood out to me as the perfect fit for what I was looking for. It avoids all the things I wanted to avoid in a hand blender, such as being overpriced, having more power than necessary, being heavy and top-heavy, scratching containers, and not fitting into my thermos. The Courant has just the right amount of power for my daily needs and its lightweight and compact design make it easy to use. It may not look or feel expensive, and it may not be perfect for everyone, but for me, it is exactly what I was looking for and the only hand blender on that ticks all the boxes for me. -
Quality The perfect stick blender for all my needs
Review by Grandma007 / (Posted on 6/5/2023)I used my previous model until it wore out. The only issue I had with it was the rubbery material covering the controls. This new model has fixed that problem. I am excited to use it just as much as my old one. It's a great product at a very affordable price! -
Quality Great product !!
Review by Amparo_Ferro / (Posted on 12/7/2022)I use it to make smoothies and it works really well! -
Quality Highly Impressed!
Review by John / (Posted on 10/29/2022)This item is truly amazing for the price. It is powerful and comes with a great one-year warranty. As a chef in busy New York City, I've found it to be a fantastic addition to my kitchen. I highly recommend it! -
Quality User-friendly and neat.
Review by Robin / (Posted on 3/16/2022)This product was used to make a creamy potato soup and it worked perfectly. I have no complaints about it. -
Quality Excellent value for this blender
Review by jeannette_m. / (Posted on 3/1/2022)This blender may not have any fancy features, but it certainly gets the job done with effective blending. -
Quality Outstanding product with the best purchase conditions.
Review by Eicnav / (Posted on 10/7/2021)I received it a day earlier than expected, in excellent condition and it works perfectly. It was a great purchase. -
Quality Joyful mother.
Review by L_S / (Posted on 2/19/2021)I bought this as a present for my mom for Christmas, and she really loved it. It definitely made me seem like a great gift-giver! -
Quality challenging to clean
Review by CamilleJungleQueen / (Posted on 11/23/2020)This product functions well, but it is difficult to clean as the bottom part cannot be removed. Additionally, the electrical cord is not detachable, which can be inconvenient. -
Quality User-friendly
Review by Harper / (Posted on 11/19/2020)I really enjoy using an immersion blender, but they usually need to be replaced every five years or so. The rotary blade on this one came loose from the socket, but I would still purchase it again. -
Quality Little to gripe about
Review by Betty / (Posted on 7/16/2020)As a dedicated crafter, I depend on this blender for all my soap-making projects, and it never disappoints! The blending power is incredible, always producing perfectly smooth mixtures. However, I do wish the button layout was better - it's tiring to hold them down for long periods. Despite this, the blender's performance is outstanding, earning it a strong four-star rating from me. -
Quality A esencial para cocinar
Review by Eduardo_T / (Posted on 7/14/2020)It works perfectly and does a great job. Good value for the money. -
Quality Worked Perfectly Until The Blade Snapped
Review by PsychedelicSpiral / (Posted on 6/6/2020)I gave it 4 stars because it broke after a few months of use while blending dye for tie dye. It was my fault, but I bought a different brand/model that should last longer. -
Quality performance is top-notch
Review by HappyShopper123 / (Posted on 4/25/2020)The performance was excellent and the cleanup was easy. -
Quality Mighty and formidable.
Review by M._ / (Posted on 2/9/2020)This product exceeded my expectations with its power. When using it to mix powdered protein, I have to hold onto the large cup because it can spin off the counter. It's also strong enough to mash a pot of potatoes without needing to use my mixer. I absolutely love it. -
Quality Awesome kitchen addition!
Review by MARIANA / (Posted on 1/6/2020)This was the best choice I've made! It's perfect for using up my leftover chili. I use it to make hot dog chili (thinner than usual) or my refried beans. It only takes seconds to use and clean! I can also quickly make mashed cauliflower or broccoli for a healthy meal. The possibilities are endless! -
Quality THE GREATEST!
Review by Melissa_J / (Posted on 12/15/2019)This blender is one of the best value for your money. We use it multiple times a day and even take it with us when we travel. It lasts us about 2 years, but we're on our 3rd one in 6 years. We've tried other blenders but always come back to this one. It's a great value for the money and gets the job done without taking up a lot of space. I see people wasting money on expensive blenders that they hardly use, but this one is perfect for us. -
Quality Satisfied with this blender.
Review by Reba / (Posted on 12/15/2019)I purchased this immersion blender specifically for making smooth Indian dishes in my instant pot, as it eliminates the need to transfer hot food to a regular blender. We also found that it works well for making milkshakes, as long as you have a wide enough cup for the blender to fit in. -
Quality Soap makers requirements
Review by DigitalTechPro / (Posted on 12/9/2019)I started making my own organic soap at home and found that this mixer works much better than traditional ones. It doesn't splash and create a mess, which is important when working with lye solution that can burn your skin. I will definitely purchase another one if I need it in the future. -
Quality Article Title
Review by Michael_Prosperous / (Posted on 12/8/2019)I am satisfied with the worth of the item(s) I purchased, and if needed, I would buy them again. I am open to purchasing from the same seller if the item meets my standards. If the item fails to maintain my standard, I am willing to update my review. -
Quality Top hand blender for the cost without a doubt.
Review by Meph13 / (Posted on 11/21/2019)This hand blender is incredibly powerful for its size and is definitely worth the price. The blade is very efficient and the two speed options make it easy to use. It's a great deal for only 15 bucks, especially considering I bought a smaller version for 8 bucks. -
Quality Amazing item
Review by Jasper / (Posted on 11/19/2019)I use this item daily for mixing my coffee, and it's also handy for preparing egg salad. It's a fantastic product and definitely worth the cost. -
Quality Great value for the money
Review by CMUnique21 / (Posted on 11/3/2019)This hand blender may heat up with prolonged use, yet it performs admirably for its affordable price. The lack of a removable base makes cleaning a bit more challenging, but overall, it's a great deal for the price. -
Quality Fantastic for soaping!
Review by Evangeline / (Posted on 10/11/2019)I've been using this blender to make soap and I haven't had any problems. I make sure to only use the mixer for 30-40 seconds at a time and then hand stir for 30 seconds to prevent the motor from burning out. It works very well and is easy to clean. I just have to clean the crevices behind the blade with a q-tip each time, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I think this was a great purchase. -
Quality Perfect for making soap.
Review by Alison_ / (Posted on 6/14/2019)I've been using this blender for 2.5 years and it's been very reliable. I use it only for soapmaking and it's been a great investment for the price. -
Quality Not for heavy-duty industrial mixing
Review by johnny / (Posted on 3/11/2019)This product is not suitable for long-term industrial use, such as mixing thick soap for extended periods. However, it works perfectly for single-serving protein shakes and smoothies. It is also easy to clean, despite the difficult-to-reach pocket at the top. The submersible line is not very high, but for quick tasks like crushing ice and mixing ingredients, it is the best and most affordable option available. I have been using it daily for about a month and it still runs perfectly. -
Quality Perfect for mixing liquids without adding solids.
Review by Ohio_Belle. / (Posted on 1/24/2019)This blender is very user-friendly with its long shaft, making it especially helpful. Unlike many similar blenders with shorter shafts that limit their usefulness, this one is just what I was searching for. The plastic material makes cleanup easy, and the steel blades, while smaller than those on my Cuisinart, are still effective for blending soups with solid ingredients. -
Quality Purchase immediately!
Review by McKenzie_ / (Posted on 12/28/2018)I absolutely love this hand blender. I purchased it only a few months ago and if it were to break today, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another right away. It has been a lifesaver for making baby food at home. The blades are sharp, it's easy to clean, and it works fantastically. It's also quiet enough to use while the baby is sleeping. The only downside is that the plastic shield stains easily (it's now orange from blending cooked carrots), but that doesn't bother me at all. -
Quality High-quality hand mixer
Review by Maya / (Posted on 12/22/2018)I purchased this blender for soap making and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it is affordable, durable, sturdy, and easy to clean. It has 2 settings and stands up on its own. However, the mixer part does not come off like with other hand blenders, which is a major issue for me. Additionally, you have to continuously press the button for it to start, and the button is really hard, causing hand cramps. -
Quality Manage your expectations when using this tool
Review by Bridget_Jones / (Posted on 12/12/2018)This product is effective, but it won't blend as smoothly as a hand mixer or chopper. I purchased it after seeing it recommended in a butternut squash soup recipe. I suggest cutting the ingredients into smaller pieces before using it, as the blade is quite small. Overall, it's a good product. -
Quality Quick and simple!
Review by sol / (Posted on 10/12/2018)This gadget requires you to hold the button while blending, which may not be ideal for those with arthritis. However, it is a convenient alternative to using a traditional blender, as it only requires rinsing before putting it away. -
Quality Excellent Item!
Review by Lucy_K. / (Posted on 10/10/2018)I really love this blender. Its size and weight are perfect, and the cord is long enough. It may not have a lot of power, but it's sufficient for its intended use. My only concerns are that the blades cannot be detached for cleaning and that you have to continuously hold down the button for it to blend. -
Quality Great value for the money
Review by Kiera / (Posted on 10/1/2018)I find this small mixer to be very useful for making soap. It effectively blends tough ingredients together and has a good lifespan. However, cleaning it can be difficult as it is hard to get into the blades and clean all the grooves. Soaking it before washing or cleaning it immediately after use helps a lot. Overall, I highly recommend this blender. -
Quality Efficient and low maintenance,
Review by Jan_C / (Posted on 9/16/2018)I like to use a corded hand blender because I can easily ensure that it's off and unplugged when I clean it. I use it in my pottery studio to blend slip to the perfect piping consistency, and it works really well. It's strong enough to handle even the tougher bits of clay in the mix, and it's easy to clean off afterwards. -
Quality Efficient Mixer
Review by winter / (Posted on 9/6/2018)This blender works great, but I find the buttons a little difficult to hold down. -
Quality Tough to maintain but effective
Review by S._ / (Posted on 7/22/2018)I have had this immersion blender for a long time and it has been very helpful. It makes it easy to blend smoothies, even with frozen fruit. My only complaint is that it is difficult to clean the blending end. Some people have also mentioned that this blender does not last very long, but I have been using mine for over a year without any problems. -
Quality Good value for money - don't splurge on expensive ones. It gets the job done, and does it effectively.
Review by Save_a_Life_-_Adopt_A_Pet_-_Change4Good / (Posted on 4/10/2018)After owning a KitchenAid with all the fancy attachments, I regretted giving away my old, reliable blender. The KitchenAid was too much of a hassle with its various functions and variable speed, and it didn't work as well as my old one. I ended up buying another one and getting rid of the KitchenAid. The old blender is quick and easy to use, and I don't have to worry about it getting rusty or gross inside. It's also easy to operate and does a great job on various tasks like making soup, sauce, and milkshakes. -
Quality No assembly necessary, user-friendly, follow these instructions.
Review by NewUniqueUser123 / (Posted on 1/30/2018)I bought this immersion blender specifically for making soups after burning myself with a regular blender. It came fully assembled and was ready to use after a quick wash. It worked quickly and didn't splash, which was perfect for me. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and will be making soups more often now. I highly recommend it! -
Quality Effortless soup mixer
Review by jennifer / (Posted on 12/29/2017)This set is fantastic and a great value for the price. I enjoy using it for making soups, and while it can be a bit challenging to clean, it's definitely worth it. I use a baby bottle scrubbing brush to clean the blades, as it's important not to fully submerge the entire item. The small brush does the job, and the hand blender makes soup making so much easier. -
Quality great price and quality
Review by Alex123 / (Posted on 12/25/2017)I got this blender at a great price and it works perfectly. It was a great purchase and I'm very satisfied. -
Quality Limited uses, primarily for making soap
Review by Paul4 / (Posted on 11/30/2017)I gave this wand blender 4 stars because it's perfect for making soap. It's inexpensive and not very sturdy, so I wouldn't recommend using it for food blending or crushing ice. However, it speeds up the soap-making process significantly. If you're into soap making or just need it for whipped cream, it's a great deal. But if you're using it for cooking, it's worth investing in a higher quality model. -
Quality Tough, Sturdy. Read instructions (1 minute operation at a time)
Review by Freddie_Jones / (Posted on 10/22/2017)I wish I had read the instructions before using the Courant 59738A Hand Blender. It clearly states that the blender should not be operated for more than a minute at a time. I unfortunately used it for more than a minute to make corn flour, resulting in me abusing the device and destroying it. Despite my mistake, I really liked the blender and found it to be rugged and durable, but it's important to be patient and follow the operating guidelines. -
Quality Morning protein shakes upgraded.
Review by ADAM_JOHNSON / (Posted on 9/27/2017)Making protein shakes in the morning has improved significantly. I no longer have to deal with the clumps that used to form when I shook the mixture, and it even blends my powder peanut butter and real peanut butter perfectly. -
Quality Caution: Adult supervision advised.
Review by G._Johnson / (Posted on 8/13/2017)I bought this hand blender to make pureed soup for my husband's lunches. I was disappointed to find that the max line was lower than I expected and that the high and low speeds can only be used for a minute at a time. Holding the buttons for that long is difficult for me due to my arthritis and carpal tunnel. The blades are very sharp and I wouldn't recommend using this around children. I also found that everything needs to be cubed before blending, which was inconvenient. The blender also made a mess when I pureed a large amount of vegetables, even though I was below the max line. Despite these drawbacks, I think it's a good product for the price and would recommend it for adults. -
Quality Fantastic Fantastic Selection
Review by Adelaide / (Posted on 8/3/2017)This blender of stick blenders is great value for the money. Instead of spending a hundred dollars on one, I'd rather buy 3 or 4 at thirteen dollars each. That way, I always have backups! I use them for making soap and it took me several months to wear out my first one. I would recommend this product to anyone, whether they blend occasionally or regularly. Who needs expensive blenders? Nobody! -
Quality Replace the title with: Two velocities
Review by JFL2022 / (Posted on 7/31/2017)The product seems to work well, but it can feel a bit warm to the touch after using it for more than 30 seconds. It has two speed options - the top button for normal or slow speed and the bottom button for faster speed. -
Quality Efficient kitchen hack
Review by Landon_. / (Posted on 6/24/2017)Received a hand mixer as a gift and would never have bought one myself. However, it proved to be a very efficient tool for making soups, shakes, and sport drinks. When it stopped working, we bought the 2 speed Courant-ease and were very impressed. It outperformed our old mixer in every way and we are very satisfied with it. If we ever lost, broke, or had it stolen, we would definitely purchase another one. -
Quality High-quality sesame oil should always have a pronounced sesame scent.
Review by Milo / (Posted on 5/19/2017)This product has a decent sesame smell, but I am still on the lookout for a stronger aroma. This is my second order and I am hoping to find a sesame oil with a more powerful scent. -
Quality Satisfied with the hand-mixer!
Review by booklover / (Posted on 5/17/2017)I had a Braun hand mixer for nearly thirty years before it stopped working. In a rush, I ordered the Courant- and I'm so glad I did. It's lightweight, easy to clean, and doesn't feel cheap. Highly recommend and hope it lasts as long as my previous one. -
Quality Thrived for 4 years
Review by Ava.Athena / (Posted on 5/1/2017)This blender served me well for 4 years, primarily used for blending coffee and occasional hot soups. It's disappointing that products aren't made to last anymore, but that's the norm these days. It's now making a whining noise and I expect it to die soon, but I can't complain for the price. I've decided to try a different blender with a stainless steel wand this time for my hot coffee and to avoid plastic. -
Quality Excellent kitchen utensil!
Review by norcalshay / (Posted on 3/27/2017)This blender has exceeded my expectations. I initially purchased it for the purpose of emulsifying and blending in my coffee, but I have found that it is versatile and can blend many different things. It is extremely powerful and creates a frothy, delicious coffee beverage that rivals those from a cafe. -
Quality Great for soap.
Review by R._Hawthorne / (Posted on 3/13/2017)I purchased this for soap making and it has been a great addition. The deep pocket above the blade can make it difficult to remove air bubbles and dried-on soap if it gets too thick. However, overall it works well and has made the process of making cold process soap much more enjoyable, as I no longer have to stir it manually for an extended period of time. -
Quality Implement this.
Review by Lisa_ / (Posted on 2/23/2017)I already have one of these and bought another one because I needed it while away from home. It's a sturdy unit and functions effectively. I have thought about purchasing one with a removable bottom, but I have been satisfied with this one. I use it for soap making and have been very pleased with its performance. -
Quality Elegant hand mixer
Review by Michelle_Carter / (Posted on 2/18/2017)This blender is suitable for my needs, but it has a tendency to overheat if used for long periods, especially on the high setting. It's best to use it in shorter intervals. The bottom does not detach, making it difficult to clean. Overall, it's acceptable but has its drawbacks. -
Quality Out of the box
Review by Mika / (Posted on 2/1/2017)I purchased the blender as a Christmas present, and was disappointed that it only came in a clear, plastic bag without a box. When I gave the gift, someone commented that it looked like I had taken it straight from my kitchen. The blender appeared to be of good quality, despite this. -
Quality Great for making soups!
Review by PhotographyQueenMom / (Posted on 1/18/2017)This blender has been excellent for making soup. I appreciate the 2-speed options, using low for chopping and high for quickly blending everything. There is minimal splashing, which is a plus. My only wish is that it had removable blades for easier cleaning, but I make sure to clean it right away to avoid any hardened residue. In general, it's a good value for the price. -
Quality Great Deal
Review by B_Sage / (Posted on 1/14/2017)This blender is perfect for mashing cooked squash in my Instant Pot. Despite a black smear mark on the side, I decided to keep it because of its reasonable price. Since I've never owned an immersion blender before, I can't compare it to a more expensive one. -
Quality Handy to have, but not frequently used.
Review by James_ / (Posted on 12/11/2016)I have been wanting one of these for a while, but I remember when they used to be cheaper. Nowadays, the standard ones cost $50 or more. It's not something you use in the kitchen very often, but it's great to have around. I tested it out and it has two speeds and a lot of suction power. This little machine is a great addition to the kitchen, but it takes some getting used to its power. -
Quality Effortlessly navigable and effective.
Review by K_Fanatic / (Posted on 12/1/2016)I bought this blender on impulse and it sat in my kitchen for months gathering dust. However, when I used it to blend my homemade cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great little gadget and I'll definitely be using it more in the future. I'm glad I bought it, especially at such a low price. -
Quality Absolutely adore this!
Review by junior / (Posted on 11/15/2016)I am a big fan of this stick immersion blender. My previous one had stripped gears and required the blender part to be disconnected from the motor for washing. With this new one, I can simply put it in a plastic tumbler with water and dish soap, run it, rinse it, and dry it. I anticipate it lasting much longer. Additionally, I appreciate that the housing around the blade is not metal, reducing the risk of scratching my bowls. -
Quality Mighty small mixer.
Review by Victoria_G._Martinez / (Posted on 11/13/2016)This blender has exceeded my expectations. It has been perfect for blending tomatoes for soup and making smoothies with protein powder and frozen cherries. It's much more convenient than using a large blender and easier to clean. I wish I had bought this product sooner, it's low cost and does a fantastic job. -
Quality Great for soap making!
Review by ~lauraprescott / (Posted on 9/19/2016)I purchased this hand/immersion blender for soap making over 2 years ago and have been using it at least 4 times a week without any problems. I make sure to clean it thoroughly between each use, as it doesn't have a removable stick for easy washing. I also have a backup KitchenAid blender that I haven't used yet, but for the price and use I've gotten out of it, this blender has been perfect. It's great for anyone wanting to start making soap without investing in a higher end brand dedicated to soap making. -
Quality Perfect blender for quick tasks.
Review by DC_ComicsFan / (Posted on 9/18/2016)This hand mixer is great for the price and is simple to clean. I mainly use it for making smoothies and blending chunky salsa in the jar. It has two speeds, so it can really blend well. I would definitely recommend this mixer for small daily tasks where using a full-size mixer is too much of a hassle. -
Quality Updated Blender for Sale
Review by LunaStar21 / (Posted on 9/2/2016)It does the job perfectly for me. I don't make soap, but it's great for making pasta sauce and blending liquids in smaller quantities without using a large blender. This hand blender is perfect for pulse blending. I had this brand before, passed down from my mom, and it lasted for years before burning out. I highly recommend it for getting the job done. -
Quality Cheaper stick blender alternative instructions:
Review by Lashawna / (Posted on 8/5/2016)This product may seem low-priced, but it's actually very powerful and durable. It's heavy and larger than expected, and perfect for making homemade soap and lotion. I found it to be the cheapest option on , and while there was a slightly cheaper alternative, I discovered that it had an aluminum blade which is not suitable for soap making. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but in this case, I got much more than I expected. It was a great purchase. -
Quality Every kitchen requires one of these!
Review by Giselle / (Posted on 7/27/2016)Every day I mix fiber with unsweetened iced tea using my blender, but when I had to travel, I couldn't bring it with me. I was surprised to find a compact hand mixer on prime. Despite being skeptical of its price, I have been very impressed with its performance. It's perfect for mixing my daily gelatin and water, and it's small and lightweight enough to travel with. -
Quality SOAP MAKING EXCELLENCE!
Review by NewUsernameTX_customer / (Posted on 6/28/2016)I bought this stick blender at full price for making hot process soaps. It works well for this purpose as long as I don't use it on high speed for too long. I keep it on low and give it a break every few minutes. I think it would work well for soups, dips, and sauces that don't require extensive mixing. It's a great product for the price, and I would buy it again without hesitation. You can spend a lot more on something more heavy duty, but I didn't want to invest a lot in a blender that will be used with lye solution and soap. -
Quality Almost perfect, if only the base detatched
Review by radarlove77 / (Posted on 6/27/2016)This product is absolutely amazing. I use it for soap making and it outperforms every expensive blender I have tried. The only downside is that the base is not detachable, which is the reason I have had to move on. However, the blender works like a dream and is easy to use for those with weak hands. The motor is also long-lasting. I only docked 1 star because of the non-removable base. It can be a bit difficult to clean underneath the blades, but using a long bristle brush or washing the blender immediately after use solves this problem. -
Quality WHAT A NICE SURPRISE!
Review by Atticus / (Posted on 6/3/2016)I purchased this hand blender in January because I was going to be staying at a friend's house for over a month and she did not have one. I already have a more expensive one that I use daily for my morning bulletproof coffee and other tasks at home, but I didn't want to pack it for my trip. I ordered this inexpensive hand blender and had it shipped to her house, intending to leave it there since she didn't have one. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It not only worked well for my morning coffee, but it could handle almost any task that my more expensive blender could. If I had any complaint, it would be that it doesn't easily come apart for cleaning. However, I found that rinsing it immediately after use and giving it a whirl in warm, soapy water did the trick. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. -
Quality Functions effectively given its cost.
Review by snowboarderlady / (Posted on 5/22/2016)I have a Cuisinart stick blender that I use for food, but I wanted a separate one for soap making. I chose this model because it has two speeds, which is helpful for avoiding splashing when starting to stir the soap. The lower speed is great for that, and then I can switch to the higher speed to finish. It's a good value for the price, although it does get a bit hot after 15+ minutes of use to get the soap to trace. Overall, it gets the job done. -
Quality Effortless operation and impressive performance
Review by Richard / (Posted on 5/3/2016)We've used our hand blender around twelve times and have found it to be easy to use and very effective. We primarily use it for blending avocados and bananas, and it quickly gets the job done. It does require you to stop and check for any chunks that may be stuck above the blades, but overall, it performs well. -
Quality Effective for making homemade mayo, hand blender works well.
Review by vphiggs88 / (Posted on 4/13/2016)This hand blender works well for me, as I bought it specifically to make home made mayo in a jar. The end of the blender is too big to fit in wide mouth jars, but it still gets the job done and blends well. Overall, I'm satisfied with its performance. -
Quality Dealing with the chaotic aftermath of scooping hot chunks of ...
Review by twink14 / (Posted on 4/2/2016)I used to rely on a bullet for blending, but it was messy and inconvenient for making soup with a lot of squash. I finally bought an immersion blender and it worked perfectly, blending the soup without any mess. It was easy to clean and now I have a lot of squash to use up. I hope my neighbors like soup! -
Quality Perfect for making soap.
Review by J._Wilbur / (Posted on 3/29/2016)I purchased this specifically for soap making and it works really well for that purpose. The blade is not detachable, so it's something to consider if you plan on using it for other tasks. However, it's easy to clean and I only use it for soap making, so it's not a problem for me. It's a powerful tool that helps bring my soap recipe to trace quickly. -
Quality Soap crafting
Review by James_T._Montgomery / (Posted on 3/3/2016)This plastic blender works well for soap making, as it doesn't react to the chemicals used. I chose it for its low price and because it's made of plastic. However, I'm not a fan of having to hold the button in for it to run. It seems like a safety feature put in place by the government. -
Quality Immersion Blender
Review by D&T_Enterprises / (Posted on 3/1/2016)This is a good immersion blender for making soap. However, if you need a high-quality immersion blender for heavy kitchen use, this might not be the best option. It is a basic and affordable blender that gets the job done, but don't expect to be able to remove the bottom portion for washing as it is all one piece. Overall, it serves its purpose for what I needed it for. -
Quality Smart buy
Review by Sophie / (Posted on 2/21/2016)I needed a new blender after my old one broke, and I wasn't sure about buying this one at first. However, I am happy with my purchase and it has held up well for my needs. It's great for cream soups, whipping potatoes, and making whipped cream. The price is unbeatable and I would definitely buy it again. I only use the lower speed since I don't think the higher speed is necessary and could reduce the lifespan of the appliance with regular use. -
Quality I adored this hand blender.
Review by IncredibleUser23 / (Posted on 1/31/2016)I really liked this hand blender and bought it for soap making. I used it for about 5 batches of soap, mainly pulsing and stirring. Unfortunately, it overheated during the 5th batch and now it won't work at all. I'm disappointed, but I've since bought a heavy-duty blender. This hand blender would be great for mixing shakes or other light tasks, but it wasn't suitable for what I needed it for. -
Quality Budget-Friendly Hand Blender
Review by Terra / (Posted on 1/22/2016)I bought this hand blender specifically for blending soaps as I am new to soap making and have learned that a hand blender is essential for creating a smooth and well-mixed soap. After researching and reading multiple blogs, I decided to purchase the most budget-friendly option with good reviews. It worked well in mixing the oils and lye, and the saponification process was faster than I expected, taking only about 5 minutes. The blender is mostly made of plastic, so I am concerned about its longevity, but the stainless steel blade at the bottom seems sturdy. I plan to update my review if there are any issues in the future. I always consider the quality, communication, and longevity of the products when writing reviews, and I will revisit this review to ensure it remains relevant based on continued use. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for providing an unbiased and honest evaluation of its performance and construction. -
Quality Great for soup!
Review by Carlos_Martinez / (Posted on 12/27/2015)This blender is a good value and is great for making squash soup. I'm excited to try it for more recipes. It blends well with two speeds and a non-removable blade. Cleaning can be a bit difficult, especially getting into the deep bowl, so be careful not to cut yourself. The cord length is decent, but a battery-powered blender might be more convenient if you have a nearby outlet. Overall, it gets the job done. -
Quality Incredible Dominant
Review by ronald / (Posted on 12/22/2015)This blender is incredibly powerful and surpasses any blender I've owned before. It arrived quickly, is easy to use, and is even more powerful than the full-size blenders I've had. Clean up is a breeze, just rinse it under water. I wish I had purchased this sooner! I mainly use it to make protein shakes, and the stand-alone models never fully mix the powder and create a messy clean-up. This blender mixes in seconds and leaves no powder behind, making clean-up quick and easy. I highly recommend it! -
Quality Great value for the money
Review by MeowFeline / (Posted on 7/31/2015)I purchased this for soap making and was initially hesitant due to its low price. However, after seeing my friend use it, I decided to give it a try. I only use it for short periods of time, as it tends to get hot quickly. I wish it were more reliable for making soap, but considering the price, I can't complain. -
Quality Satisfied with its performance, I've used it to make
Review by Isla / (Posted on 7/21/2015)I was surprised by the size of these blenders, they are larger and taller than I anticipated. However, after using it a few times, I am happy with its performance. I mostly use it to make smoothies, using a 1-quart mason jar as a container, and it works quickly and efficiently. I also tried making pesto, which turned out okay, but I think I will continue using a food processor for pesto in the future. -
Quality Spicy
Review by jelizi17 / (Posted on 8/22/2011)This small device works well and has two different speeds, but it gets very warm after only a few minutes of use, and then becomes so hot that it can cause burns. Even just mashing potatoes made it heat up quickly. It gets the job done, but if you need something for continuous blending or tougher tasks, it's probably best to find a more powerful option. -
Quality Suitable for protein drinks but not for frozen drinks
Review by A._ / (Posted on 8/21/2011)This hand blender requires a lot of effort to use as you have to constantly hold down the button while blending. The blade is small and not suitable for mixing frozen fruit. It is best suited for blending protein shakes and is more of a budget option. I have purchased more expensive blenders with better results, but this one serves its purpose for traveling.
