Works great. Good quality. Easy to clean. Simple. I'm looking into a two-burner one. I use it for outside cooking.

Great size, cost, and functionality. Used them (2) for a spaghetti luncheon for the sauces and they worked perfectly!

- Coils heat up faster and hotter than some of the cast iron topped burners (had those before) - This one has 4 loops per coil/burner - most have 3 loops - The loops are sturdier and can handle a pot of soup/sauce without feeling flimsy - The cast iron topped ones can be slippery where you have to be careful stirring or flipping - It's not premium but works great, cooks everything I throw at it. Cons: One knob fell off after 2 weeks (daily) use. Another person reported the same issue. Hopefully it's just a one-off thing. Seller sent a replacement (new stove). I really wish the knobs had numbers so you can have a clearer idea of what number to cook certain things at. If the knobs stay in place and it works as it has - I would recommend and buy again.

I bought this appliance because my kitchen is being remodeled. I was amazed at how quickly the temperature is achieved, and it helps me to cook fast! I fry my eggs, make vegetable soup, and I am glad that I have this small, compact, portable, and useful single burner cooktop!

We purchased this to cook in a pinch while a kitchen remodel took place. If you are used to gas, keep in mind this will take much longer to heat up and it won't respond quickly to changes in the temp setting. Speaking of, the temp setting is nuanced - it seems to cycle at lower temps to try and maintain consistency.

Instructions say not to use pots bigger than the coils - because this is compact, you can only use small pots.

I purchased this to assist with cooking while my kitchen was being remodeled. While it can't fully replace a stove top, it's been incredibly helpful. I typically start boiling water in an electric kettle and then transfer it to a pot on this burner. It can accommodate large skillets (8 and 10 inches) successfully. I find the temperature controls a bit confusing, so I usually use it at full strength. Nonetheless, it's a great device if you don't have access to a full kitchen.

I use this appliance at work sometimes so I can make my food fresh instead of it sitting in the fridge already cooked for several hours. I've cooked steak with this appliance and can get it to a perfect medium rare with a good sear on the outside with very little smoking. I prefer to use this appliance rather than the stove at my apartment.
