Lacks a timer but otherwise a great machine

The size is perfect for two people and it functions well. If it included a timer, I would give it 5 stars.

I have an issue with this crockpot when cooking a roast with vegetables. The vegetables don't get fully cooked, even when I put them in first and then add the meat. I've tried cutting the vegetables into smaller pieces, but the problem persists.
