I recently received the 60oz white kettle to replace my older orange one. The lid on the old one broke, and now the new one has the same issue. I hope this one lasts longer. The lid mechanism seems fragile and the base feels lightweight, but the kettle itself is solid. Cleaning it is easy with vinegar or citrus crystals. I wish there were more color options. Unfortunately, my kettle is no longer usable as the lid has broken for the second time. Courant does not seem to support their customers, so I will not be purchasing from them again. However, Amazon was helpful and refunded my purchase.

I have not encountered any issues with the kettle, but I do follow some practices to maintain it, such as not leaving it full of water for too long and allowing steam to escape after boiling water. Descaling with white vinegar has also been effective. Overall, I am satisfied with the performance of this electric kettle.
