Upon opening the box, my initial impression of this product was not great. The lid squeaks and feels lightweight, making it unstable when putting pressure on it. I have not used it yet, so I will update my review later. While I have been able to make some good sandwiches with it, I do not feel that it is worth the price. I think it would be a better value if it were priced at around $20. I would have been willing to pay more for a sturdier and safer unit. Overall, it does make good sandwiches but could be improved in terms of construction and stability.

This product is perfect for quickly making something for the kids! It has been used consistently by 6 kids and is still working well, which is definitely a positive.

The sandwich press I had before could only cut the bread into triangles, but this grill is far superior. It can accommodate normal square bread and can fit at least 2 large sandwiches with room to spare. It also works well for making panini-style sandwiches with French bread or similar. The grilled cheese it makes is amazing. While I wouldn't use it for grilling meat, it's perfect for making sandwiches and you won't be disappointed.

Purchased this for my son when he got his first apartment. He really enjoys it and uses it frequently.
