The exterior texture provides a better grip, but the lid doesn't fit securely. You'll need to hold it firmly to prevent spills. This grinder seems best for beginners, and it's a plus that it comes in a cute red color.

This grinder performs well and is not noisy. However, it is smaller than expected, only fitting about 8 spoonfuls of coffee beans at a time. It is great for those who like to grind coffee just before brewing, but not ideal for those who need to grind larger quantities. It only has one grind setting, so you'll need to adjust the grind time for your desired coarseness. Overall, I am happy with the product.

I love using this Courant grinder to cook all my meals. It's so easy to grind bulk spices like coriander, fennel, fenugreek, and peppercorns. Cleaning is a breeze with a damp towel or by using the squishy white bread trick. I used my last grinder for years until the motor burnt out, but I quickly replaced it with another one. The red color is perfect for my kitchen.

I bought this cute little grinder in red and it looks great on my counter. It grinds the beans quickly and evenly and is pretty quiet. The only downside is the static build-up during grinding, as other reviewers have mentioned. It can get messy when you open the lid with the ground coffee sticking to the sides and lid. I usually tap the lid a few times before opening to try and knock some of it off. However, overall I'm happy with my purchase and think the price is reasonable. It's a good smaller size, quiet, lightweight yet feels sturdy. The available color options are a nice change from the usual black, white or stainless steel appliances.
