This grinder is a good value for the money. I bought it to make fresh ground coffee for my French Press. I found that two 4-second grinds work well for French Press coffee. In the future, I might invest in a burr grinder that can be adjusted for the very best results. Sometimes I have to adjust the top before it activates.
