I bought this grinder for my French press and it works perfectly. I only need to grind my beans twice for about 4 seconds each time to get a coarse grind. It's consistently great.

Have had it for awhile now, use daily..no issues

I use this daily to grind 2 tablespoons of coffee, and even at that low level, the grind is inconsistent. There are fine powder and coarse grind portions. I think it may be due to the small quantity of beans I use. If I grind less to have less fine powder, then I end up with large chunks. However, it's a good deal and I appreciate the safety feature where only the button pushes a hidden trigger that can't be accidentally activated unless something like a paperclip is inserted.

The clear top of this grinder is really helpful for monitoring the coffee bean grinding process. It's a high-quality grinder with a unique button that is easy to figure out. The sound level is moderate, and I appreciate the solid and sturdy construction for the price.

This machine has performed well despite being used to grind many kilograms of beans. However, after several years, the rubber grip has become unpleasantly sticky and gross, and cleaning it hasn't helped.

The flavor of the coffee depends on the type of beans used. It grinds the beans to powder with just a few taps on top, but only grinds about 2 tablespoons at a time. If you try to grind more, the hot water may cause the grinds to spill over the sides. It is easy to clean with just a napkin, no need to run it under water.
