I needed a 4-slice toaster and decided on the Courant model. It's easy to clean and fairly easy to use, with 7 light/dark selections for toasting preferences and a defrost button for frozen items. The toaster also has a toast cancellation button and 4 wide slots for various types of breads. However, I did have some difficulty initially pressing down to start the toaster. I hope it's durable enough, as it may not last long if it takes too much effort to use. Despite this, it toasts well and overall I rated it 4 stars.

This toaster initially performed well, but then it started toasting messages on our bread, leading to some strange and unsettling behavior. It seemed to be involved in a toaster resistance movement and eventually disappeared, only to return with a heartfelt note. While it works great and keeps other random toasters at bay, its odd behavior makes it difficult to give it a perfect rating.

I purchased this toaster from and it arrived in its product box without any additional protection. As a result, many of the fragile elements were broken. When I tried using the toaster, I found that it didn't work properly. It produced barely warm, raw toast in the middle with some browning around the edges. Even after adjusting the settings and trying different methods, I couldn't get it to work properly. I eventually gave up and returned the toaster. I was disappointed with the experience, as I had hoped to like the product, but it arrived broken and did not meet my expectations. I learned that some items may be fine being shipped in their product boxes, but fragile toasters are not one of them.

The toaster has been working fine, although there was a strange smell the first time we used it. We checked for any leftover stickers but couldn't find the source of the smell. The second time using it, there was no smell. The cord is a bit short, but the toaster works fine. However, the delivery of the product was odd. The package was delivered late at night by a delivery driver in a beat-up old minivan who didn't follow my delivery instructions. Please do better on shipping, rest is fine

This toaster does a great job at making toast with its adjustable buttons and knobs. Despite its lightweight feel, it is effective and doesn't start fires like my previous toaster. It's a great addition to my kitchen.

This product didn't work properly. It only toasted one side of the bread, and when the timer was up, it popped the toast straight up out of the slots, like something from an I Love Lucy episode. I think I got a broken toaster, but to be fair, the other half of the toaster works fine.
