This knife cuts effectively, but it is heavy and cumbersome. Its shape causes your hand to push forward during use, and it is not well-suited for individuals with small hands or arthritis. Compared to my previous electric knife, this one is much heavier.

This electric knife is a convenient tool for quickly slicing cheese, meat, bread, or poultry. It's user-friendly and easy to clean, with a long cord suitable for most kitchen tasks. If you want to carve poultry at the dinner table, you may need an extension cord. While a wireless option would have been convenient, it might sacrifice power. It is quite loud, as expected, but still a reliable product that gets the job done well.

I had to replace my old electric knife and this one was a perfect choice. I've already used it to slice brisket and ham, and it cuts really well. It came sharp out of the box and is a great addition to my kitchen for when I have a lot of slicing to do.

We recently had to retire our old avocado green Hamilton Beach Scoville electric knife after 40 years of use. It finally gave out when someone tried to cut through bone. We really appreciate having an electric knife for cutting bread, carving meat, and slicing Costco chickens. The Courant electric knife is a great replacement - it works well on everything and is very reasonably priced. We only use it for food and it's been a winner for us.
