This slow cooker works just as well as the one I used 40 years ago. It can make soup in just a few hours on high power, whereas it used to take a whole day or even overnight.

After realizing that a slow cooker would be more energy-efficient for cooking beans than using the stove, I decided to give it a try. It's a great way to make stew and soup more efficiently, with less heat in the kitchen. I was specifically looking for a small capacity cooker for one person, and this one seems to meet my expectations. Plus, it has the added benefit of easy clean-up.

I absolutely love this small 2 quart crockpot! It's perfect for cooking for one person or for making a meal for two without having too many leftovers. I've used it twice to make Korean short ribs and they have turned out perfectly both times. I have other crockpots in various sizes, but I find that I use this one more often when I'm cooking just for myself.

I needed to replace my 2 quart slow cooker and decided to upgrade to this 2 quart one. It's the perfect size and doesn't take up much more room for storage. The extra half quart prevents any sputtering on my counter. It works really well and is easy to clean. I highly recommend it.
