I had intended to purchase this crockpot for both myself and my grandmother, as she doesn't eat much. I wanted to make some stew, but the pot didn't heat up at all. The vegetables didn't cook through, even after leaving it on for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend using it for cooking vegetables or anything stew-like.
