I've had the Courant hand mixer for 30 years and it still works great, but the eject function was getting difficult. I ordered this new one and it's just like my old one. I love how easy and lightweight it is to use, and it works great on all kinds of batter. It's also easy to clean and store. I hope it lasts as long as my old one.

This mixer is a good value for the price. I needed something affordable and compact for my small apartment kitchen, and this fit the bill perfectly. The cord is nice and long, and I like the shape of the beaters. There are five speeds, but the slow setting might be a bit too fast for thin or powdery mixtures. For me, this isn't a big issue as I mostly mix by hand. The mixer is not very powerful and can struggle with thick mixtures, but it's great for more labor-intensive tasks like beating egg whites. The sturdy bowl rest is helpful, and the beaters detach easily, although you need to be careful not to accidentally turn it on while detaching them. Overall, it's a good mixer for home use.

I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this handmixer given its affordable price. While it may not be a high-powered mixer, it has enough power to handle everyday mixing tasks such as pancakes, cakes, and cookies. My daughter and I love using it for these recipes.
