After renovating the kitchen, I needed a simple temporary solution until we got new appliances. This burner works well for small pots and pans, but the numbers on the dial wore off after only 3 uses. I had to scratch notches into it to keep track of the settings.

This device is convenient and small, but its temperature control could be more specific. It can boil small amounts of water, but not a medium pot, and the heating coil turns off before reaching a rapid boil for noodles. It is likely able to heat a can of soup.

The hot plate was well packaged and operates effectively. The temperature control is user-friendly and the burner heats up and cools down quickly, providing great control for cooking.

I purchased two of these units, one black and one white, and they both work well overall. However, the paint for the numbers on the heat dial easily wipes off, which is annoying when trying to gauge the heat. Despite this issue, the burners heat up quickly and cook evenly, although they struggle with larger pots of food.

This stove was a lifesaver for my wife's pregnancy nausea. I had to cook outside and it worked perfectly for boiling water and frying foods. It's now a regular part of our patio cooking routine. Highly recommend, even if you have to replace it.
